The Kresge Environmental Education Center (KEEC) is located in Mayfield Township of Lapeer County, about six miles north east of the city of Lapeer.

In addition to the centers 240 acres, there are 7,000 acres of state land contiguous to or nearby the property. The center lends itself to a wide variety of uses ranging from our Summer EMU Biological Program, and our School Camping Program to a Retreat, Workshop and Conference Center.

The main buildings are located a quarter of a mile off Fish Lake Road in the middle of the center's 240 acres.
